NVIDIA GeForce 8500GT 512MB PCI-Express x16 Video Card w/DVI ?

I am in the mood to shop and I have several pc's with none of them having more than 64 mb video which is on board. I found this at compgeeks.com and want to know if anyone thinks tis is a good or great buy for the price? Heres the link.

Check out the other stuff where it says : Customers who bought this item also bought : Forsa GeForce 6600 512MB DDR2 PCI Express VCD w/DVI TV-out for $29.99 Is that a good buy also? Maybe that's all I really need? Thank you.|||It depends what kind of games you are going to be playing. The 8600GT runs about twice as fast as the 8500GT, and the 8800GT runs about three times as fast as the 8600GT. Now the 8600GT that I got was $90, and the 8800GT which I'm looking into buying runs around $180, so for the price go for the 8800GT.

But in terms of performance, I can run Crysis on 1024x768, all medium settings around 25 fps. Games like Portal, HL2, and BF2 run 100+ fps with all top resolution and settings. I would suggest getting the 8600GT. I'm planning on buying some of the higher level games later on, which is why I was looking at 8800GT.

The specific specs are located in the graphics card comparison in the link below.|||The 8500gt is better than the 6600. But it really depends on what kind of games you are looking to place.

If you want to game more than light games, then i recommend the 8600gt 512mb for just a little bit more than the 8500gt. It would be a better buy.
