Can i connect a PCI Express x16 video card to a PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot on my Motherboard?

i have a slot in my motherboard named PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot. but i bought a video card with PCI Express x16. can i attach this card to PCI express 2.0 x16 slot?......or i need any other slots?(i dont have any slots that named "PCI Express x16 slot").|||PCIe 1.0/1.1 and PCIe 2.0 use the same x16 PCIe SLOT. It is just that PCIe 2.0 slot has higher bandwidth (2x) and higher wattage rating (2x) than PCIe 1.0/1.1. All PCIe graphics cards will work on all those slots.

It is just the high-end, multi-GPU cards that get bottlenecked by PCIe 1.0/1.1 slots that's why there's the need for the high bandwidth of PCIe 2.0.|||Yes, you can. The "2.0" is just the version.
