Is the XFX PVT88PYDF4 GeForce 8800GT 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Ready Video Card any good?

I'm building a computer for the first time, and I was wondering if this graphics card was passable. If not, what do you recommend?

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000XQHBEE/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top|||If you're on a budget, the 8800GT has one of the best price-performance ratios around. So it's passable, but there are far better video cards out there.

If money is not a concern, I recommend getting a Radeon 4870 or a GeForce GTX 260 (280 if you really want to burn that much money), these are way better than the 8800GT, plus the 4870 is priced really, really cheap and competitively.|||Yes, it's "passable".|||radeon 4850 is $199 and will kill the 8800gt. the 9800gtx will also kill it @ $199. Its a great card, but has just been superceded by these two models.

REally depends how much you want to spend. There are cheaper places to get it than from amazon.
