Is PCI Express x16 expansion slot compatible with a PCI Express 2.0 x16 card?

i want to get this video card:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130509

for this PC that i have:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883103221

the card is PCI Express 2.0 x16, does this mean it will not work with the PCI Express x16 expansion port on the motherboard?

please let me know... the video card is a great deal so i want to buy it asap if it will work. thanks|||I second that, yes it is backward compatible, and with that card you will see absolutely no difference in the speed. The 2.0 interface was to curve a possible bottleneck that was appearing the the late 4 series ATI cards and the late 200 series Nvidia Cards, with the card you are buying you won't be close to the bandwidth cap.|||"PCI Express x16" is actually 1.1

1.1 is backward compatible with 2.0

so the answer is yes
