Video Card Question about bridging using pci x1 to pci x16?

I have a video card that has the crossfire system where I can bridge 2 cards together my question is my card goes in the pci x16 slot if I purchaed the same card but in pci x1 slot will they still work properly together?|||Of course not. If that motherboard supported Crossfire, you'd have 2-4 PCI-Express (v1/v2) that are x16 size! Since you're thinking of this hokey setup, that means it doesn't and you can't.
