Video card pci express x16?

I have a motherboard that supports pci express x16, would i be able to put a PCI express 2.0 x16 card in the pci express 1.0 x16 slot?|||Yes. PCIe-2 is backwards compatible with PCIe-1.1|||yes|||yes, my 3rd computer has the pci x16 too, i did the same it still works no problems. bit of work invovled but it works.
