Will a video card with PCI Express 2.1 x16 plug into a motherboard that supports PCI Express 2.0 x16 and work?

I've got a motherboard that says how it has PCI Express 2.0 x16 video card slots and a video card that says PCI Express 2.1 x16 on the box. Will I be having a problem with my video card or will it work correctly?|||Yes, you can use ANY pci-e x16 card in ANY pci-e x16 slot. Doesnt matter what revision, they are backwards compatible. and there is no difference in 2.1/2.0, and there is hardly any difference in 2.0/1.0 lol|||It'll work. I have a PCI-E 2.0 card on my PCI-E 1.0 mobo. XD
