Will a PCI Express 2.0 x16 video card work with a PCI Express x16 slot?|||Yes. They are the exact same interface except PCi express 2.0 allows for higher bandwidth speeds. Most likely, unless if you have a really good new card your PCI Express 2.0 card will not be bottle necked in a x16 format. It will work just fine





EDIT: I don't know what that has to do with anything honestly. the card will work no questions asked. I cant guarantee it wont be a little bit bottlenecked. However if your card is maxing out bandwidth in PCI Express x16 then it will still be very powerful.|||only if the card is backwards compatible.
