Will 2 video cards work with a motherboard with 2 pci express x16 2.0 slots?

Does the motherboard HAVE to say Crossfire or SLI or is having 2 pci express x16 2.0 slots all you need? Here is the board.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813135228|||The MoBo doesn't have to say SLI or Crossfire support for the SLI or Crossfire GPUs to function. You just need to make sure that you have the correct GPUs that will work in those modes. Basically, the ones that do say Crossfire or SLI ready are optimized to run in that mode. That doesn't mean that any other motherboard cant. In this particular board they give you the option by giving 2 PCIe slots but it isn't optomized to use it. Yours in particular is Crossfire compatible and not SLI compatible. Make sure you take note of that while purchasing the card.|||If it has two slots, then it will do it.

The video card is what is SLI, not the motherboard.|||The board supports Crossfire, check the link in my source.|||That is a CrossFire motherboard, no SLI.
