Will a PCI express 2.1x16 video card be slower with a motherboard compatible with PCI express?? X16?

Your probably saying you want to install a 2.1 PCI-Express graphics card in a motherboard with a PCI-Express 2.0 slot.



You won't feel any differences if you do that. PCI-E 2.1 has the same speed as PCI-E 2.0.



@ Igor: PCI-Express 1.0 is the slot with smallest lane. Use this for reference: http://www.it4fans.ro/wp-content/uploads…|||If your Pci express port is 2.0 it will run normally but if it is 1.0 it will be a bit slower.
