or GEFORCE 7300GT?|||if you want a card for gaming, then neither the 8400gs nor 7300gt are good options. At a minimum you should be looking at the 8600gt. Preferably the GTS model. Depending on the budget, you should go for the 8800gt. The low-end cards (like 8400 and 7300) use slower memory and only have a 128-bit interface. This will kill performance! In addition, the 256mb vs. 512mb memory is a moot argument if the bus is only 128-bit since all data bottlenecks due to the narrow bandwidth. Check these:

So just get that ones' big brother, or even go with an Nvidia. it really does depend on what kind of games you are interested in playing.
