Whats the best pci express video card i can buy for 150 dollars?

i need the best possible video card for around 150 no rebates please. and it has to be pci express x16.

and if it is from newegg.com thats also a plus|||If you can go up to 180, you're best bet really is the HD 3850 ATI. If you can't, then your best bet is to wait and save up 30 more bucks :)

If you really can't do that, then the 8600 GTS is a decent option. I'd really hold out for the 3850 if at all possible.

Whatever you do, don't buy a card unless it supports DX10. Also, pay more attention to the speed of the ram, 256mb of ddr3 or ddr4 will perform much better than a card with 512mb of ddr2.|||i'd go wth the 3850 answer, when they came out they were available for 159..but the demand for them was great and stores were selling out,..

now since it happened around the holidays, stores are starting to price gouge people.

i'd wait..itll be worth it.

EDIT: BEST BUY HAS THEM in stock right now $159..ONLINE ONLY..FREE SHIPPING!

It has a utility, just like most Nvidia cards, that allows you to fully customize the clockspeed, fan RPM, bus speed, etc...|||ebay auctions hav lots of good g-cards.|||http://www.tomshardware.com/2007/12/03/b…|||http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as…

nvidia 8600 gts - second best to the 8800

nvidia > ati|||This one is about $180, but it's pretty bad ***:
